Reseller terms
Version of October 8, 2026
1. Scope
These terms govern participation in the Sosto Labs partner programme (the “Programme”) and supplement our terms of service. For everything relating to the Programme these terms prevail; otherwise the terms of service apply. By taking part in the Programme (“Reseller”, “you”) you accept both.
2. Application and approval
The application is submitted by the account owner in the customer area, with the company details and registration number (Swiss UID or EU VAT number). We check the details by hand against the official public registers and may accept or decline an application at our discretion. A customer of another reseller cannot apply. You must provide accurate details and keep them up to date.
3. How it works
In the reseller area you create your end customers and buy a subscription for each of them: one subscription per customer. The subscription is in your name; the portal, its configuration and the data it holds belong to the end customer.
4. Discount
- You receive a discount on purchases for your customers. The percentage depends on your revenue over the last 12 months: completed payments, excluding taxes, net of the discount and after deducting refunds, credits and chargebacks.
- Your tier is calculated on the 1st of every month. The tiers and percentages in force are published in the reseller area.
- The discount applies automatically to new purchases and, from the next billing period, also to renewals of existing subscriptions.
- We may agree custom terms with you.
- We may change tiers and percentages with at least 30 days’ notice, given in the reseller area or by e-mail.
- The discount is personal and cannot be transferred.
5. Billing and prices
Purchases are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, acting as Merchant of Record, which issues your invoices. You invoice your customers yourself, with your own prices and services; we are not a party to that relationship. The free trial does not apply to approved resellers.
6. Support for your customers
You are your end customers’ first point of contact for support. We support you through the tickets in your customer area.
7. Your obligations
- You present yourself as an independent reseller and do not act on behalf of Sosto Labs.
- You do not promise features, compatibility or service levels beyond the terms of service.
- You use the Sosto Labs and product names only to describe the product accurately.
- You inform your customers that they are the controllers of their guests’ data and must publish their own privacy notice.
8. Data
In the reseller area you see your customers’ portals, the subscriptions you bought and the status of those they pay directly. Of your customers’ people you only see their administrators, as contacts; you never see their guests’ personal data. For guest data the controller is your customer; we act as processor, as described in our privacy policy.
9. Transferring a portal
A portal can be transferred to another customer only by us, on request and with a new payment. The portal’s configuration is kept; the old subscription is closed.
10. Suspension
We may suspend your participation if you breach these terms or the terms of service, provide untrue details or fail to pay. While suspended you remain a reseller and your customers remain yours, but the discount is zero.
11. End of participation
Either you or we may end participation in the Programme with 30 days’ notice, or with immediate effect for good cause. When participation ends:
- the discount ends immediately;
- existing subscriptions remain active until they expire and are not renewed;
- each of your customers can then move to a direct relationship with us, with a new subscription in their own name; the portal’s configuration is kept.
A former reseller may submit a new application, which we assess like a first one.
12. Liability
The liability rules of our terms of service apply.
13. Changes, governing law and jurisdiction
We may change these terms with at least 30 days’ notice; to keep taking part in the Programme we will ask you to accept the new version. Swiss law applies; the place of jurisdiction is Locarno, Switzerland, subject to mandatory statutory provisions.
