1. Scope
These terms govern the use of the cloud service Sosto Labs Captive Portal (the “Service”) provided by:
Sosto Labs, a brand ofLALU Solutions di Luca Lafranchi
Via ai Saleggi 11
6600 Locarno
Switzerland

Contact form
(“Sosto Labs”, “we”). They apply to organisations and professionals (“Customer”, “you”) who create an account or subscribe to a plan. The Service is intended for business use.
2. The Service
The Service provides a captive portal for guest Wi-Fi on UniFi networks: guest sign-in by e-mail or voucher, authorisation of devices through the UniFi Network Integration API, branding, privacy settings, statistics and administration, as described on our website. We host, operate and update the Service. We may improve and change the Service over time, provided that its core functionality is not materially reduced during a paid subscription period.
3. Requirements
You need UniFi access points and a UniFi OS console running UniFi Network 9.x or 10.x, reachable from our servers (typically through port forwarding that you configure and may restrict to our servers). You are responsible for your network, your equipment, your internet connection and the configuration of your UniFi system. Compatibility with future UniFi versions depends on Ubiquiti and cannot be guaranteed.
4. Account and trial
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. Every plan starts with a free trial of 14 days. A payment method is collected at checkout; if you do not cancel before the end of the trial, the subscription starts and is charged automatically.
5. Plans, fees and billing
- Plans differ in the number of sites, access points and monthly guests; features and limits are described on our pricing page at the time of your order.
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly in advance and renew automatically for the same period until cancelled.
- Orders are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle's buyer terms apply to the purchase and payment; Paddle issues the invoices and collects applicable taxes.
- A guest is counted as one verified e-mail address or one voucher used in a calendar month across all your sites. If you exceed your plan, guests keep connecting and we notify you; after three consecutive months over the limit, new guests may be paused, with two weeks' notice, until you move to a suitable plan.
- You can change plan at any time; changes are prorated as shown before you confirm.
- We may change prices for future billing periods with at least 30 days' notice. The new price applies from the next renewal; you may cancel before it takes effect.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; until then the Service remains available. Refunds are governed by our refund policy.
7. Your responsibilities
- You use the Service in compliance with applicable law, in particular data protection, telecommunications and consumer protection law.
- You are the controller of your guests' personal data. You are responsible for the texts you publish on your portal (privacy notice, marketing consent, welcome texts), for the legal bases you rely on and for the retention periods you set.
- You do not use the Service for unlawful purposes, to send unsolicited communications, or in a way that impairs its security or availability.
8. Data processing on your behalf
With regard to your guests' personal data, we act as your processor. We process it only to provide the Service and on your documented instructions (given through the configuration of the Service), keep it confidential, protect it with appropriate technical and organisational measures, and assist you with data subject requests through the tools of the Service. Our sub-processors are listed in our privacy policy; we inform you of changes in advance. At the end of the contract we delete or anonymise your guests' data, unless the law requires otherwise. Further details are described in our privacy policy.
9. Availability and support
We aim for high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance is carried out, where possible, at times of low usage. Support is provided by e-mail; requests can be sent through our contact form.
10. Intellectual property
The Service and its software remain the property of Sosto Labs. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for the duration of your subscription. Your content (logos, texts, data) remains yours; you grant us the rights needed to host and display it within the Service.
11. Liability
We are liable for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence. To the extent permitted by law, any further liability is excluded, in particular for indirect or consequential damage, lost profit, lost data, and for failures of third-party systems such as UniFi equipment, networks or internet connections. In any case, our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you for the Service in the twelve months before the damaging event.
12. Term and termination
The contract runs for the subscribed billing period and renews automatically until cancelled. Either party may terminate for good cause with immediate effect, in particular in case of serious breach of these terms. We may suspend the Service in case of non-payment or misuse after notifying you.
13. Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms. We will inform you of material changes at least 30 days in advance; if you do not agree, you may cancel before they take effect.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction is Locarno, Switzerland, subject to mandatory legal provisions.
